The Certificate of Recognition (COR TM) is an Occupational Health and safety recognition certificate that verifies a fully implement safety & health program which meets national standards to a specific company and is endorsed by participating members of the Canadian Federation of Construction Safety Associations (CFCSA). This certification program is aimed at enforcing positive workplace behavior and practices that lead to improved performance. This standard is slowly becoming mandatory across Ontario and Canada in general.
As part of City Electric’s focus and mission, we are currently in the process of achieving this Certification. We are a registered company with the Infrastructure Health and Safety Association (IHSA) for COR. With this registration, we are in effect, practicing stringent safety procedures throughout the company in preparation to be examined and deemed acceptable for the COR Certification.
